Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Rasta at rasta.pi3.in (the "app"). Rasta is provided by Prisha iCube ("we", "us").
Information you enter
The stops, depot, fleet, costs and road matrices you enter, and the route plans the app produces, are processed only on your own device. The route optimizer runs inside your browser. None of this information is sent to us or to anyone else.
So that your setup is still there when you come back, the app saves it in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere. You can remove it at any time with Clear all data in the planner, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
What the app stores in your browser:
- rasta.v1: your stops, depot, fleet, costs and time budget.
- rasta.theme: whether you chose the light, dark or automatic theme.
- rasta.introSeen: whether the "How it works" guide has already been shown.
- An offline copy of the app's own files (not your data), so the app keeps working without an internet connection.
Your location
If you press Use my location, your browser asks for your permission and then gives your coordinates to the app so it can place the depot there. The coordinates stay on your device like the rest of your setup. We never see them.
Files you open or save
CSV files you import and setup files you open are read by your browser on your device. Files you download (route plans, setup backups, templates) are created on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
Links to other services
Some buttons open other services, and only when you press them: Google Maps (driving directions), WhatsApp (sending a route to a driver), and LinkedIn, X, Facebook or e-mail (sharing a link to Rasta). When you use these, the information in the link, such as stop coordinates in a Google Maps link or route text in a WhatsApp message, goes to that service and is handled under its own privacy policy.
Hosting
The app's files are served by GitHub Pages, a hosting service run by GitHub, Inc. Like any web host, GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address when your browser downloads the app's files, for security and operations. See the GitHub Privacy Statement. The app's fonts and images are served from the same site, so no other outside service is contacted when you load it.
Cookies and tracking
Rasta does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Children
Rasta is a business tool and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because your information stays on your device and we do not hold it, you are always in control of it: you can view, change, export or delete it yourself in the app. If you contact us by e-mail, we will use your message only to reply, and you can ask us to delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
